1. Portfolio Manager (3 Positions)

Location: Remote with periodic in-person meetings (Calgary preferred)

Type: Commission-Based (100%)

Compensation: Highly lucrative, uncapped earning potential


Role Overview:

As a Portfolio Manager at MetaNexus, you will be responsible for building and managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored consulting and accounting solutions. This is an ideal opportunity for entrepreneurial professionals who excel in business development and thrive in a results-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Assess client needs and provide customized consulting and accounting solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales, consulting, or portfolio management (5+ years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of consulting and accounting services.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of success.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.

2. Bookkeeper (1 Position)

Location: Calgary, Alberta (Hybrid)

Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience


Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with over 10 years of expertise in using SAGE and QuickBooks. This role involves managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial data.
  • Use SAGE and QuickBooks to manage accounting processes efficiently.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address financial queries.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in bookkeeping with proficiency in SAGE and QuickBooks.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
